Texas Eye Institute - Katy

Texas Eye Institute, I been with them for many years, there in Sugar Land, Texas and now in Katy, Texas. Very pleasant staffs work for Texas Eye Institute. Dr. William M. Hipps is very professional and a very great listener, I enjoyed that most of all during my exams with Dr. William M. Hipps. Texas Eye Institute is a very pleasant places go if you like to have your eyes check correctly by a professional General Ophthalmology Board Certified American Board of Ophthalmology.

I was referred to the Texas Eye Institute for a thorough testing after a regular eye exam somewhere else. This office is easily found, it’s a nice building with plenty of parking spaces. They are located on the 1st floor. I was treated and didn’t have to wait that long. My testing was done by Dr. Hopping. He was very polite, took his time to explain the test and the results. All of the nurses very also polite and welcoming. The office itself has plenty of sitting in the waiting room. Once they call you in, inside there is a secondary waiting room, they have a TV where they play very informative videos about the different eye conditions, I think that was nice. I would suggest a coffee machine for patients while they wait, that would be great. I was very pleased with the visit, I would absolutely recommend them.

Dr. Bulan is very knowledgeable & very comfortable taking care of kids. My son usually cries & resists any medical care but Dr. Bulan’s techniques were very effective in capturing his attention, make him feel comfortable, & was able to do all the tests he needed to do. The staff were very accommodating & kind as well. Thank y’all.

We live in Beaumont and there are no pediatric ophthalmologists, so we drove all the way here. Staff made it very easy to schedule an appointment on short notice due to emergency infection. Doctor was very good with kids and made the experience very easy for all of us. They were very thorough, addressed all our concerns and questions, and explained everything to us very simply. Highly recommend. I will be using them in the future.

I saw my favorite, Dr Hipps, at the Katy location. No one told me that this clinic can write prescriptions for glasses, but not contacts. Now I have to drive 20 miles to another location to get fitted for contacts. Will I have to get another Ins referral? The staff and Dr Hipps at the Katy location were so nice, but patients should be warned up front, about the limited services.
