Very well organized and professional operation. I got significant pushback when I told them about my sensitivity to excess dilating drops. They eventually worked with me. They did not file my insurance like every place else I go so I have to go through a month-long step of getting reimbursed for my $75 copay. Overall I would rate them very good.

I called the office for my mom yesterday as her left eye closes and hard to keep open. I was able to get an appointment for today. My mom saw Dr Chelsea Knatter did a very thorough exam. My mom told Dr Knatter she never had such a thorough exam before. Dr Knatter went over options and my mom will be following up with her in 2 weeks. Her technician whose name I don’t remember was also very good. My mom would definitely recommend The Eye Associates and especially Dr Knatter.
I have very high standards when it comes to medical care. As a former nurse practitioner, I know what quality care should look like. I write 5-star reviews when a practice meets those standards—and I’m equally willing to speak up when it doesn’t. I was referred to Eye Associates by a neighbor whose judgment I trust. After moving, I needed to establish care. A prior provider had told me I had cataracts requiring surgery, which surprised me given that my last exam up north was only seven months earlier said I didn’t have cataracts. It didn’t feel right, so I sought a second opinion. At Eye Associates, the staff and providers were professional, friendly, and thorough. Amy conducted my exam and answered my questions with patience and clarity. The team dynamic stood out right away—collaborative and supportive. Dr. Trim followed up, clarified remaining questions, and confirmed that while my prescription needed adjustment, cataract surgery is not necessary at this time. This visit reinforced the value of a thoughtful second opinion. I’m grateful to have found a practice that prioritizes patient-centered care.
Staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. The appointment went well due to a highly efficient staff. Dr Courtney was excellent! She was professional, kind and explained everything in detail.Highly recommend.
The most thorough eye exam from the most professional, compassionate staff! Dr Trim is wonderful about taking time to explain everything you need to know! My husband and I were both seen quickly for emergency appointments. Highest praise and recommendation...
