I really liked the eye doctor she was very good. However the after experience picking out glasses, was not what I expected. When I picked out my glasses I encountered Gayla, she was not very personable. Usually you are offered different prices of what glasses will cost with or with out premium lenses and extras, I said I just wanted basic nothing extra so she added it up and I was told that it would cost me $235.00 that day to order, I asked for what? She said the progressive lenses were not included with my insurance. I explained thats never happened. So I said well Im not going to purchase until I call my insurance comp. Because progressive lenses are covered. She let me leave to office without explaing that I had other options on my progressive lenses. I went home called my ins, they explained I was correct basic progressive lenses were covered. So I called back and asked for Gayla and told her this and she said well we usually only offer premium lenses, she then said I can order basic for you if thats what you want. Why was it she could not do that while I was in the office why did she allow me to walk out that day thinking I had to buy the premium?? When people are on budgets and being careful of expensive purchases, why would you not go above and beyond to take care of your patient in that way? Was it due to making commission on the premium lenses that played a factor? Very disappointed in her over customer service. So I will not go back all though the Dr. Turner was wonderful Gayla lost me at letting me walk out of the office knowing full well I didnt have pay 235.00 that day and had more options.

Dr. Turner and staff are wonderful. Family has been patients for many years and will keep trusting Dr. Turner and staff with our eye care.
My family and I have been long-time patients of Dr. Turner and that is because she really cares about her patients. The staff at The Village Eye Doctor is top shelf in patient care and always friendly. The office and equipment are always clean. I highly recommend The Village Eye Doctor.
Amazing eye doctor and staff. What a great experience for my elderly mother. They were so accommodating, professional and caring.
I have been seeing Dr. Turner for a few years now and she will forever be my eye doc! She is personable, kind, welcoming, and professional. She has a team of knowledgeable individuals that make going to the eye doctor fun!! I love the new office and fun variety of frames.
