Vanover Vision

I have had some vision problems. I wanted to make sure I was going to get a very thorough exam. I am so glad that I went to Vanover vision. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I had questions answered even before my exam. Dr Vanover took the time to explain the results of my exam. I was impressed with the professionalism and the facilities. Highly recommended!

Terrible! This man is rude, indifferent, dismissive, arrogant, unfriendly, and just plain unkind. He does not have the ability or the interest to explain anything about your vision to you and makes little effort to do so. When he made a comment about my vision and I said I didn't understand what he meant, he merely turned to the computer screen and said, "You don't understand what I'm saying". With no more effort to clarify or explain further, he just changed the subject. Rude and dismissive! He does a minimal exam, explains nothing, and just walks out of the room when he considers the exam done and disappears. You will learn nothing about your vision condition/needs. He said I had cataracts, which I knew, but no mention of how far along they are or what to look for or when to have surgery. No direction. No discussion. Today I went back to Pearl Vision for a check since I didn't trust him. They were all so nice. I got a thorough exam with full explanation of how far along my cataracts are, and they helped me with the procedure of how we will schedule surgery, where, and how the entire process will work. The best service. With that guy I'd have no idea that I should take care of this now. Costco made a very bad choice to let him in there. He is not a compliment to the quality of Costco. Go to one of the many professional optometrists in town and take your prescription to Costco for your glasses if you like, but avoid this guy at all cost. Don't just take my word...check out other reviews of how he has treated other people.

Loved my experience here! The appointment was super easy to book, I was greeted with a smiling face and great customer service. Dr. Vanover was very efficient, knowledgeable, and to the point.

The staff was friendly and professional, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. They use the latest technology, which made the eye exam feel both efficient and thorough. Even though the appointment was quick, it never felt rushed. Once you’re inside, you forget you’re even in a Costco—it feels like a dedicated eye clinic.

My wife and I both went to Vanover Vision for eye exams. Highly recommended! This was the fastest exam I've ever had while still feeling comfortable and cared for. Dr. Vanover and his staff are all very friendly and welcoming as well. 10/10, no notes.
