I did not feel welcome in this establishment. The doctor was very competent but not very clear about instructions. My contact follow-up -I was sent home because I used up my trial contacts. The staff member told me he’d order me contacts..I didn’t have extra ones as I was not told to wear them on the follow up appointment ( daily means once a day, dispose) The staff were rude and uncaring. I’m not sure if I will keep my yearly appointment. Whoever runs this establishment should train the staff to be more respectful to their customers, as they should.

We have been bringing our daughter here for years and have nothing but great things to say about this location. Erik(sp?🤔)has always been our go to guy and is super personable and helpful in every way. Doesn’t hurt that he brings some good brevity and laughter during the process as well. As for the manager Lyndsey she is very accommodating and should be proud of her staff and for running a solid location with the customer in mind. Continue to do the good work!
Everyone was very helpful and personal. Exceptional customer service. Also, the selection I had for my glasses that remained within my insurance allowance was pleasantly unexpected. I had dozens of options and had a hard time choosing a frame because I liked so many of them; however your customer service/sales rep assisted me with choosing and I felt as if she cared that I was happy with the way I looked in them. This was honestly the best customer experience I've had in a long time. Thank you all so much! I can't wait to get my new glasses!
I called to see if I was covered and immediately was cut off by the person on the phone. Very abrupt and rude. I shared what my insurance was and before I even finished I got cut off again. The staff sounded annoyed that I was even asking. Short-tempered staff ruins a customer experience. This person should not be employed with this organization if this is how they treat new customers. I will now not ever consider this location for services.
I've been in there 7 or 8 times for appointments and pick ups and adjustments on my little boys glasses. I had 1 1/2 times where I was treated human. What is it with this shopping center?! #1) You will be ignored until you call them on it. One lady literally thought her job was to sit at the desk and not move or talk. The woman covered in tattoos (just describing. Nothing against tattoos) is the rudest by far. She won't look at you, huffs like you just disturbed her giving birth to her first child & speaks to you like you stole her dog. There is 1 man there though that I haven't seen for the longest that is a doll baby. That's where the 1/2 positive visit came in. I only dealt with him at the after-exam. The only good thing about the place probably works somewhere else now. #2) The Optometrist was good. Didn't get my prescription right but at least for $35 extra he caught diabetic retinopathy that I had ZERO symptoms of. I highly recommend people, especially diabetics, keep an eye (pardon the pun) on this possibility w their retinas. I made an appointment with another place (that I'll do a review on) and fortunately most of the bleeders are gone. Fantastic! But still scared it'll come back. He did chew me out because I wore my 1 month contacts for 2 months. (My excuse: my son got married in Ohio and I lost track of life fr). But he had to be stern because he doesn't want to see his patients go blind. #3) The ONLY good appointment we had was bringing a prescription from Penn State in to get glasses for my little boy. The lady was a doll! So friendly! She explained alot, knew her stuff... had to be from another store where people are friendly, filling in for all the rude and lazy people that didn't want to work that Friday night. Hey, I'm not complaining! #4) Every other appointment was the same group of people that hate their job and take it out on the customers that make it possible to have a paycheck. It can't be possible for one place to hire that many poor quality employees. Management must be terrible. Abusing these people in the back rooms and forcing them to work there. Once all of our business is done with this location I'm either leaving VisionWorks or getting one closer to home. I only chose this location because our son has weekly physical therapy nearby, so I figured it would be convenient. We still have at least 3 appointments left because my little boy decided he wants transitions. Management: PLEASE, for the love of Lancaster, hire an entire new crew!! You're going to lose customers this way!
