Great experience at this Visionworks location. The doctor was friendly, thorough, and explained everything clearly. Big thanks to Christiana and Tiffany. They were both personable, patient, and incredibly helpful. I always have a hard time picking out frames, and they took the time to help me find the right pair without making me feel rushed. Excellent service from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back.

Went to Visionworks in Steele Creek on a recommendation. They exceeded my expectations. I was greeted kindly by the entire team. They all played a part in me picking out eyeglasses that fit comfortably and my testing. It was a great experience and I will return. I want to thank Alexandria, Christiana, Tiffany, and Dr. Palmer. They all were great and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get an eye exam and eyewear.
I had the strangest experience at this store. I was meeting a friend to help him decide what glasses looked good. When I went in I realized he wasnt in there yet, so when the woman sitting at the desk greeted me (I dont remember what she said), I explained i was meeting someone but he must not have come in yet. I turned to look out the window and find his contact info in my phone. She said something else like did I need help finding something or was I just looking, and I again explained that I was waiting for my friend who's going to be looking at glasses but he's not in here yet. I kept trying to multi-task talking to her and pulling up our texts. Then she asks AGAIN. So I explain a THIRD time, getting more frustrated. Then she said are you talking to me or are you on the phone? I said i'm answering your question, you keep asking me and I keep telling you i'm waiting on a friend. She said she didnt know if I was on my phone and couldn't hear me because I was "mumbling".....I never mumble, I didnt have in ear buds, there was no audio coming out of my phone, and she was sitting across the room talking to me instead of getting up to come over. Wouldn't that seem logical if you didnt know if someone was talking to you or if you wanted to provide customer service? Also, if I was on the phone it would be quite odd for my responses to only be when she spoke to me and saying something that answered what she asked, no? Sheesh. So then the other worker comes around and asks if i'm purchasing something. I say "i dont know if he's buujng or not"exasperated because why am i being interrgoated? It was like they didnt want anyone in there. The she makes those "claim down" hands and says "are you ok? I ask because you're being rude. This is a friendly place"......it felt like an alternate universe. I wasnt being rude and I explained that. I explained that I'd been asked 3 times why i'm here and I've answered three times. The whole thing was absurd miscommunication. But having been in retail my whole career, if you think a customer didnt hear you while you sit there clicking a tablet, then you get up and greet them directly. You dont ask them if they're buying anything or accuse them of being rude when the reality is you weren't being attentive to me answering your questions
AVOID!! Lady looks up at me with the lazy "ugh, a customer" look. No greeting or "I'll be with you in a bit". I go outside and call their Pineville location. The lady there answered and couldn't listen to more than 5 words without rambling. She tells me in a panic that I can't come until after her lunch break at 2:30p. It was 11:30a when I called. She also says I can't choose my own frame replacement. She has to choose them for me because of the lenses. I guess I have no choice. This place is a joke.
The doctor was extremely rude to me. She talked to me through video chat which was fine, but to make me feel so small and was passive aggressive was completely unnecessary. I hadn't been to an eye doctor in a while and she was being very rude about it. Needless to say, I will not be back. Oh and another thing is she was being rude about me using my daily contacts for longer than daily's. Which I understand so I told her I'll do the monthly's then. Then she goes to prescribe me daily's after just being rude about me using them.
