Most positive experience I’ve ever encountered when going for an eye exam & getting new glasses. The doctor I saw was excellent as was all of the staff. Can’t say enough about how pleasant the experience was. I highly recommend this office. Located in Halls.

I see a trend of one-star reviews for this company in recent times and I can certainly relate. They got the lenses for my existing frames wrong 2 times. Then they refunded only 50% of my full, upfront payment. I had to dispute this theft with my credit card company and it took months to get this resolved in my favor. Beware of Volunteer Eyecare. They cannot be depended on or trusted.
My glasses broke on the bridge. I went there expecting to maybe have them replaced or repaired and was told no which is fair they were out of warranty. I had to wait two days and I was able to get an eye exam and got some glasses ordered for 202 for everything. They also gave me some loaner glasses to get me through until they come in
Fantastic experience. Dr Anderson is exceptional and got me back into contacts for first time in 5 years. Dialed in my wife’s eyeglass prescription as well. Highly recommend!
They ripped off my 88 year old grandmother. She came in on a Friday, ordered lenses but they gave her no receipt l. She called first thing Monday to cancel, and not realizing there was any sort of 50% nonrefundable policy, because she had not been given a receipt, they insisted she had signed on the line and acknowledged that she would lose half her money. She’s 88, she doesn’t read things, she just signs where she’s told to sign. If they had given her a receipt, she would have been able to refer back to it, and she would have simply not canceled. It’s not right to make a profit off of confused elderly people who live on a fixed income—especially when she was never given a receipt.
