I was in Walmart, South Tryon to look for and probably buy new glasses. I have purchased there a few times previously with no problems. Today, I was the only customer in the store, and I mentioned to the young lady that I think my benefits have me eligible for either lenses or frames and lenses. She told me that I can look them up for myself. I asked her if she could look up that information, and she replied that she could, but she is too busy to do that for me. She sat down and tapped away at a computer, leaving me standing there. I commented to her that it is amazing that there is no one here who could assist me, and she basically said the store is understaffed, and that's life. Amazing that a store would treat a customer like that.

As someone who has used readers for a very long time, I was apprehensive about having to get glasses after so many years. My experience with the staff at Walmart Vision Center helped to ease any anxiety I had. From Gia, who checked me into my appointment, to Dr. Weifenbach, who examined my eyes, I was blown away by the friendliness and professionalism shown to me. Even Norika, who assisted with fitting me for my frames, was patient and answered any question I had without hesitation. I would definitely recommend Dr. Weifenback and the staff at the Walmart Vision Center if you're looking for glasses any time soon.
I called Walmart Vision Center to ask a simple question about getting my glasses checked for the prescription, and the experience was extremely unprofessional. The person who answered the phone was rude, immediately said “no” without any explanation, and then hung up on me. I understand if a service isn’t offered, but basic customer service and courtesy should still be expected. Taking a few seconds to explain or at least respond politely would have made a huge difference. This interaction felt very dismissive and unhelpful, and it definitely discourages me from wanting to visit this location. It sounded like an old man by the way.
Me and my family have been coming here for years. I love Dr.W - they are very busy so there may be a wait but it’s worth it.
Yasmine in the front was rude… literally rude. I don’t know if you’re a student but I hope when you get into your profession you don’t treat your customers like that. When it comes to speaking to anyone in the healthcare field you should keep into account your tone and how you speaking to people. I hope you see this review and do better…. I even thought of calling corporate on you. You ruined my experience!
