David at the Walmart Vision Center was, without exaggeration, one of the most unprofessional people I have ever seen working in any customer-facing position. My wife came in for what should have been one of the simplest fixes imaginable - replacing a screw in her glasses. Instead, she was immediately met with attitude, condescension, and what honestly felt like outright shaming. At one point, David made comments about her not being able to afford new glasses, making her feel embarrassed for simply trying to repair the pair she already has. As if that wasn’t enough, he then referred to her glasses as "disgusting" and claimed they were "too dirty" to work on. Let me be very clear: her glasses were not "disgusting." They had maybe a couple normal everyday smudges on the lenses from wearing them throughout the day, like literally any pair of glasses that are actively being used. Then came the part that truly blew my mind. Instead of simply installing a screw, David proceeded to bend the absolute hell out of her frames. By the time he handed them back, they no longer fit her face properly, and to make matters even worse, one of the lenses was now falling out - something that was NOT happening before he touched them. When this was politely pointed out, instead of apologizing or attempting to correct the damage he had just caused, my wife was met with yet another rude side comment, and he made no effort whatsoever to repair the now-loose lens. I literally had to console my wife afterward because of how embarrassed, frustrated, and upset she was after being treated this way. What’s especially frustrating is that everyone else we’ve ever dealt with at this Vision Center has been pleasant, helpful, and professional. This review is specifically about David. If you need optical services at this Walmart, I strongly recommend asking for literally anyone else. We will not be returning after this experience.

I just left there. They don't have enough parking for handicap and I circled the parking lot for 15 minutes trying to get a spot. I called The vision Center at 2:01 letting them know that I was going to be late for my appointment. My appointment was at 2:00. I'm disabled. She said she would wait. I parked all the way on the other side of the parking lot and trudged my body across and it took me forever to get there. I get inside. And the stupid doctor was gone. No way in hell. Will Walmart vision Center ever get my business. Go somewhere else. I'm going to Costco. If I could give zero stars I would. If I could put all kinds of cuss words on here that told them what I think about them I would. I'm absolutely flabbergasted at the horrible experience I have at this store and I will never shop here again.
I had a very positive experience at the Monroe Vision Center inside Walmart. I placed my order for glasses at the end of December, and about a week later I received a notification that my order was completed. Jenny, the vision center manager, was incredibly helpful throughout the process. She took the time to help me choose a frame that suited my face and made sure the final fit was just right. She was patient, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly. I truly appreciated her great taste, attention to detail, and customer-oriented approach. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience. I highly recommend this location if you need glasses or help selecting frames.
Everyone who I interacted with here was wonderful. I especially appreciated getting help from Charles (I hope I remembered his name correctly) who was extremely personable and helped me understand what my insurance covered and was transparent about cost throughout my entire appointment. Will definitely be going here for the foreseeable future.
l am forever grateful to the crew that helped me at the Walmart Vision Center today! My 1-year-old puppy chewed the ear pieces on my brand new glasses from Costco. Costco no longer carries the glasses that I got this last Saturday (they don't have a warranty for things of this nature like Walmart does either I discovered). I called The Vision Center and a man answered the phone. I explained my mini crisis and he said he would set aside two sizes of silicone casings to cover the jagged edges of the earpieces. When I arrived, Kathryn ad Rosothea tagged teamed to help me out. They went above and beyond and out of their way to help me with my little mini crisis- crisis diverted! What a great crew at The Walmart Vision Center here in Monroe!
