Called and provided my insurance information for an appointment and said they do take my insurance, got there (same day) and they told me my insurance was out of network. Then I said I had called and that they had told me that they do take my insurance and the girl, who is the same girl who took my appointment over the phone sounded oblivious, asked “oh did you call here?”. No apology at all for wasting my time. There used to be a nice middle aged Latina front desk lady that worked there for YEARS and never messed up any appointments or information, they absolutely need to bring her back.

This place is shady if you go here do not pay cash!!!! If you pay cash they get rid of all your info I’m thinking for tax purposes because this has happened to me 2 times here… the first time I figured okay maybe I’m wrong about the last time I came in, in February I got another eye exam done for contacts the total was $189.xx I paid cash… went back to get my prescription today so I could order new contacts and they are telling me I haven’t been here since 2022… however Dr. Christina remembered me and knew I was there less than a year ago and they can’t find nothing on my prescription and now they tell me I have to pay for another eye exam… RIP OFF and SHADY!

The doctors cool nothing negative to say about him. It’s the receptionist clearly shes not capable of taking care of the clinic and answering questions EVER on 2 separate occasions I’ve called and came into the clinic simply seeking my sons appointment time for the follow up to no avail. Customer service is lack luster, she can’t multi task and doesn’t EVER call back or send appointment reminders. In conclusion we are going to another center hopefully with better customer service

TL;DR The man who works in this location's Vision Center severely lacks in customer service skills. I recommend taking your business to the Walmart Vision Center on Liberia Avenue (superior service). On two separate occasions the employee at this location has been less than helpful. My boyfriend purchased glasses with a warranty at another Walmart location, and was told his warranty was effective at all Walmarts. After a move into the area, we came to this location to have the frames fixed. The man refused to help us, citing vague "privacy issues" with the technology between Walmarts. Furthermore, he was dismissive and unfriendly. We called the store the glasses were purchased from and fortunately a member of their team confirmed our understanding of the warranty and helped resolve the issue. On our most recent visit, the man was again dismissive, and borderline rude. He also insisted (*insisted*) that he didn't carry my boyfriend's type of frames...my boyfriend found them on the shelf in less than a minute's time. We ended up going to the Walmart on Liberia Avenue. The staff there was friendly and helpful. We would recommend giving that location's Vision Center a try.
