i’m so grateful that a friend recommended Walmart vision care. The staff is great, an hour bring back 4 or 5 Bent and Broken glasses that I stepped on or slept on. Today happened to be Tyler who helped me! thank you, Tyler and the whole team! Chris

I rode 36 miles from Crestview to Destin Walmart Vision Center where I used to receive my service couple of years ago. Was surprised by rigid inflexible and unhelpful service from an employee. I walked out irritated and upset. Went 36 miles back to Crestview to Family Optic center where I resolved my issue with ease within ten minutes.
Dr Sparks, OD, is an excellent Optometrist and is not associated with the Walmart Vision Center retail shop. I was quoted $140 after insurance for frames and lenses. A couple months later, I received a bill for an additional $141. After researching, Walmart Vision Center Destin told me their computer incorrectly valued my lenses as a grade 3 instead grade 4, and I would therefore need today the difference. How would a consumer know how much insurance covers without the retailer informing them? I would not have purchased my glasses if I was told they would be $281. But I was told they would be $140, so I bought them, then had to pay an additional $141. This is classic bait and switch. See Dr Sparks for your Optometrist, but buy frames and lenses elsewhere. Walmart Vision Center has predatory (and certainly unethical) business practices.
Had an appointment here for an eye exam for contacts. I was called back at almost exactly the appt time. All of the staff I met were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. There was no pressure to buy glasses (which I didnt need yet) or contacts from them, which I appreciated. I will continue going here for future eye stuff, and recommend to my family as well.
Mike is amazing at customer service and will take care of you. Goes above and beyond to meet your needs and get you the best deal and sets the bar high for anyone that works in customer service- represents this office well and can be trusted for your vision needs - best in town
