So I'm from California and America's Best in California is amazing the customer service is amazing the people that are so nice as far as El Paso we only have two offices and I can tell you right now it's awful. First of all when you call the girl is so rude over the phone and apparently she doesn't like me because she's in cahoots with the other office. I've been a member for years I have a three-year membership I've always paid my bill. So what happened is this I went to another office asking for some assistance for a trial pair because I thought I wasn't due for an eye exam yet of course I was willing to pay blah blah blah yada yada yada . At the end of the day I wasn't happy with the service I was being given at the other office by Bassett Mall so I said you know what I'm just going to go to Zaragoza well I should have never said that because the manager called this store and told him not to work with me. I'm actually ready just to find another company to work with you do get what you pay for because it is cheap. So if it's cheap then you get cheap service

My son went yesterday at received an estimate of $226 for lens’ only. I thought this was too high since my friend recently went also for lens’ only and paid approximately $100. I thought there was probably a mistake. So we go in and meet with another young lady. She quotes me $275 for the same. When I let her know we were going elsewhere to check on prices she promptly says I can do $225. I don’t know how she was able to adjust the price on own. We went to Costco and paid less than $100 for the same thing. Moral of the story is don’t get robbed, go to Costco.
Just look at all the negative reviews before scheduling. I went in to renew my contact and eyeglass prescriptions. The trial contacts they gave me were so blurry I couldn’t drive safely. I scheduled a follow-up immediately, but the clinic kept canceling, pushing my appointment. When I finally got in, I told the doctor the prescription made daily life unsafe. I even brought my previous prescription that worked for years. His response? “I don’t even want to see that.” He dismissed my concerns entirely. Even though I could read the letters, they were still blurry—I told him this, and he stated that it was “20/50 vision” and ended the nearly five-minute exam. Then they charged me $139 for a follow-up that should’ve been free under the 45 day policy. When I asked to review the new prescription before finalizing, the assistant literally took the pen from me and tapped “Accept” without my consent. The updated prescription? Even weaker than the blurry trial one. I also bought glasses based on that faulty prescription—completely unusable. I now have to pay out of pocket to see another provider just to get a working prescription so I can function! So far, I’ve spent over $400 and been left with blurry vision, stress, and zero resolution. This place is a scam. The doctor and staff are incompetent and a complete disregard for patient care or basic vision needs. At this point, I have taken the steps to contact corporate, Texas Optometry Board, and the BBB to file complaints.
Lorenzo is the best. I’ve had my new glasses for about 1 month but knew something was off. Lorenzo understood my concerns and fixed my issue. Great customer service highly recommend him!!! 10/10
Honestly. I was going to give this place 5 stars because ethe lady that helped me in the beginning when I was choosing my glasses was amazing but honestly the glasses to come in is not 5-7 business days. I have been waiting for 2 weeks already!!! My glasses atm are broken like shattered and they still aren’t in. Everytime I call they tell me the same thing. It should take 5-7 business days even though it’s been way longer than that. At this point i don’t think my glasses will ever come in.
