I was given a last minute appointment by a amazing employee named Joline. At my appointment I had my initial testing by Kiki, she was amazing 👏 🤩 🙌. Her personality was outstanding. She gave me cold water she had for medication I brought. Lastly Dr.Margrot was through, kind, he was patient with me and understanding. I was amazingly happy with the service.

Waiting on a supervisor to return my call. Bought our son a pair of glasses for $265. The first few days one of the lens kept popping out. Our son is 2 and we were told it is very important for him to keep wearing them. The first week after putting the lens back in over and over and calling Bard to let them know, we lost the lens. They assured us they would take care of it and the lens must of been cut wrong and was too small for the frame. We took the glasses in and the staff told us that it was their error and it shouldn’t have happened and they were sorry. A few days later a manager named Roger calls to tell us it will be $150 to fix. We were not happy and he said he would talk to a supervisor. He then calls and tells us he can do it for $75. Still…no! The glasses were not stepped on, broken or anything bad on our end. They should have lasted more than a few days. I’m currently waiting on a call back from another supervisor but unless they make this right I would never go back or give them another dime. Roger told me he would have a talk with his staff because they shouldn’t have told us that it was their error. Apparently he doesn’t want to be held accountable.
I started using this establishment for my last purchases and I've only had bad experiences. The first time I lost two pairs because they always fell off my face and they never fixed them. This time, even with the insurance, I ended up paying more than if I'd gone to more elegant places, not to mention that they broke a pair of glasses trying to fix them and didn't offer me a discount for a new pair, even though they were the ones who broke the glasses. The staff is very friendly and reasonable but...
Really bad experience with this store.. I scheduled appointment for my daughters with 2 weeks in advance and by the time for scheduled date.. this guys told me that 1 on my girls appointment needs to be rescheduled cause they had error or their system..So I gave another chance and take another appointment.. Then days before for next appointment, this guys called and talk me that need to be rescheduled again cause they overbooked appointments.. so don't waste your time and money and go to a different place..I do not recommend this store. If I can put -1 start that will be fair....
If I could give 0 stars I would… I scheduled my 2 girls appts months in advance, I pulled them out of school early to get here because I received a call 2 days prior saying their appt was at 3:40pm. I get there at 3:37 rushing and they told me they can only see one of them because the 1st appt was at 3:20pm. I asked why did they say their appts were at 3:49 sand she said it must have been a mix up. I am upset because my daughter’s appt was canceled due to their mess up. This is not new for them it has happened before and I am sick of it I will not be doing any more business with Bard Optical on Wabash in Springfield IL
