Today I brought my stepdaughter in for an eye appointment as a result of eye irritation. I am a new client of D'Ambrosio eye care, but go to the Lancaster office near Leominster MA. The Gardner, MA office is quite nice considering the overall size of the facility from the front view. Today my stepdaughter was seen by Dr. K. Who was really nice, friendly and down-to-earth. After examining my step daughter Dr. K, prescribed prescription eye drops and recommend over the counter allergy eye drops. Dr. K also went above and beyond by giving a coupon that would save money on the allergy eye drops. The facility / office including visible exam rooms all appeared to be very clean and well organized. This includes the medical equipment. Again I cannot stress enough the importance of cleanliness in any medical facility. I would like to further note the office has a nice area in which you can sit with a licensed professional and purchase eye glasses or contacts. The eye glass area has a nice selection of eye glasses to choose from. The assistance here is friendly and professional so no issues in that department. The only grievance I have is parking. Parking is on street with a paid meter at 0.25 cents for 15 minutes. Unfortunately, today the weather was rainy and cold so we were forced to park up the street a little ways but we won't melt :) I recommend visiting this office location especially if it's available. You won't be disappointed.

Dr. Chang is fantastic, and I would follow her anywhere. From a business perspective, it is chronically difficult to contact the business as they have an AI answering system that can never connect you to anyone. There is the perception that staying at the highest volume possible is the goal, which may make up for patients who get frustrated trying to make appointments or return calls who go elsewhere. For my surgeon, I will put up with it, but for ongoing care I would go elsewhere. Medical care from the doctors, A+++ - from a customer experience perspective, there is a lot of room for improvement to reach anyone!
Long wait times to get appointments so don't miss any and have the need to reschedule! You also have to call in the parking lot to check in from your car before you can come in to the building. Which can take a very long time because they will put you on hold and transfer you to more than one other person. They don't have a portal. Major bummer... I had to ask for a copy of my glasses prescription; they never gave me a copy when I was last seen. And they had to mail it to me the old-fashioned way, taking days, not seconds, through a portal. I could not find an email to contact them on the website. I tried to go to the Athol website on my computer, and the site wouldn't even pull up. Going off of Google, Athol is only open 2 days this whole week! The wait time once inside isn't too long. The wait time in the office is also short. The staff are nice. The place is clean. The copay was $60, telling me they are a specialist when I only paid $30 the last time I went. I would not recommend this place.
The staff at the front desk was very nice as well as the Assistants and the Doctor. It was a comfortable experience and the Doctor was very knowledgeable
If I could give a zero I would horrible customer service does not take responsibility. submitted my prescription waited over a month no response when I inquired they stated they text my phone and oh it went to spam. You're treated well if you're from Gardner if you know you know
