Having eyes that can’t/won’t do what they are supposed to do without the help of glasses sucks, but the wonderful caring staff at the Gardner Walmart vision center make it suck a lot less. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. I would definitely recommend the Gardner Walmart vision center to anyone in need of supporting their uncooperating eyeballs, you will be in good hands at this establishment.

Do yourself a favor, if you’re going to get glasses from this optical shop DO NOT go to Alex. She tried to put the bifocal height of my child’s glasses so high that he would have no distance vision. I had to argue with her and advocate for my child to have something that should be a given (distance vision). When determining the height of the bifocal she also didn’t take into account that the glasses would have a strap on them to hold them up. There are good opticians and there are bad opticians. Choose wisely! Additionally, Walmart Optical changed their warranty so that you need to physically bring in the pair of glasses in order to utilize your warranty so that they can “see the lenses and confirm they’re scratched” as opposed to just placing the order via phone call. Will not be going back.
I have had great service with the Gardner MA Walmart Vision center up until today. I can't say enough about the wonderful Optometrist there. However today, I called to ask to get a copy of my script so I could order some glasses, and the associate (Sarah) that took my call was extremely rude. I simply asked why I couldn't get a copy of my script and then wanted to ask who I could talk to in regards to this 'New' policy and she kept talking over me with tons of attitude. I did my best to keep my cool and I did throughout the conversation, but I will also be contacting Walmart's complaint department. If your in the customer service industry you shouldn't be looking for a fight with customers.
The doctor herself was phenomenal, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. The floor staff left a little to be desired. To not have enough training is one thing, but for bothy visit and my father's maybe a month apart, they giggled a lot and didn't have very sure answers. I would probably go back though.
I found that the Gardner Massachusetts Walmart optical center was very accomadating and very pleasant people to work with I will never go anywhere else for my glasse's or lense's for my other frames after finding them. Very reasonable prices for great work and nice frames
