I’ve been to this doctor’s office three times for ongoing concerns related to possible Lyme disease, and each visit has been extremely disappointing. Every appointment feels rushed — I’m usually seen for only 5–10 minutes before being told the same thing over and over again. The doctor says he’s going to order X-rays or follow up with testing, but nothing ever actually happens. Despite paying my copays and doing everything I’m supposed to do as a patient, I’ve received no real treatment plan, no medication, no physical therapy referral, and no effort to help me improve. Instead, I keep getting told to “come back in two weeks,” which feels more like a way to keep collecting money than actually helping patients. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that it genuinely feels like patients with state insurance are treated differently. I should not feel ignored or dismissed because of the type of insurance I have. Every patient deserves proper care, respect, and attention regardless of how their medical bills are paid. After multiple visits with no progress, no answers, and no real concern shown for my health, I finally decided I would not be returning. I came looking for medical help and support, but instead I felt like just another number being rushed through the system.
