Would rate 5 stars if they didn't continuously reschedule my kids dentist apts, and then when they would reschedule it, it'd be months away from the prior date leaving my kid even more behind on his regular dental cleaning check up. I made the apt on time every time he was suppose to be seen. Prevented my kid from being seen on 2 separate occasions. The staff is good though. Just unfortunate there is no back up plan or person when the provider is out of office. Which was the reasoning they gave me twice for rescheduling.

Ariel is hands down the best receptionist I've ever met in any medical setting!! She is knowledgeable, helpful & polite. She always treats people well & she goes above & beyond for staff & patients alike. Someone give that girl a raise!!!

I picked out some glasses at HealthSource. I went to pick them up today and they were the wrong prescription. It took me weeks to get in and another three for my glasses to be ready. Since they are the wrong prescription I have to go back next week to get them corrected. Probably take me another 3 weeks to get them back. This is too long to have to wait for a pair of glasses. I have no idea how they got my prescription wrong.

We had a very concerning experience with this pediatric practice. My 13-year-old daughter, who has special needs, has been on Belsomra for several years following a sleep study that confirmed a neurological sleep disorder. This medication has been essential for her health and daily functioning. After her long-term doctor left the practice, we were informed that the office would no longer prescribe her medication. Without a transition plan, tapering guidance, or a referral to another provider. This abrupt discontinuation left my daughter without necessary treatment and caused significant distress and disruption. I understand that providers change, but continuity of care especially for vulnerable patients should be a priority. We felt completely unsupported during a critical time. I hope this practice reconsiders how they handle patient transitions, so no other family has to go through this.

We started bringing our kiddos to Eastgate Peds in 2017 after moving to the area. We were sad to leave our previous pediatrician as we had been seeing them for the 5 years prior but we quickly fell in love with this practice. When we found Brandi McConnell, I knew this was the place we needed to trust for our children’s health. I’m always confident in the physicians diagnoses, trust their advice and they always provide reassurance. We have 7 kids and when Brandi helped diagnose our 6th with an airway disorder when no one would listen, she gained the most respect from us and we will never doubt her. The facility is clean, the staff is professional, you are able to get in most of the time same day when needed, and the doc on call is easy to reach after hours.
