Heffington's House of Vision

We had such a great experience at Heffington’s House of Vision! We were honestly stressing trying to find a place that would see a minor and take our insurance, and they got us in the same day—which felt like a miracle. From the minute we walked in, everything just felt easy and welcoming. They have the cutest golden retriever shop dogs that just wander around, which made it feel so relaxed. No one was pushy at all while we looked at frames—just super laid back and helpful when we needed it. We saw Dr. Valerie D’Souza and she was amazing. So kind, patient, and really great with kids. The whole office is really nice and clean, and you can tell they use all the latest tech. They even had video games and puzzles in the back, which kept everything fun and low-stress. And the glasses were even ready the next day! Seriously just an all-around great experience. So glad we found them.

From the second we walked in it was an amazing experience. From the 2 dogs who greeted us at the door to everyone smiling. They could not do enough to make us welcomed and comfortable. I learned more in that one visit about my eyes than I have ever learned in any eye appointment. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HEFFINGTON'S.

Excellent service, have used their service several times over the years. Staff is helpful, explains options in detail. Being an older person at times I can get confused and staff again and again would explain options. Staff is not high pressure and seems more interested in a person's health than there profit margins. Whether you are on a limited income or can afford the better things in life. This company will take care of you.

I had never been here before but I changed to a new insurance plan and looked at the list of providers available. Me, being one to always check reviews first, I noted they have almost a 5.0 rating and after going there I can see why. For one they’ve been in business since 1975, three generations have been doing this since then. That is a level of expertise that you cannot get just anywhere, plus review after review has nothing but positive experiences. So I called to make an appt., and they had one the very next day! (yes a next day appt!) wow that is also unheard of! When I walked in I was greeted very friendly and immediately felt I’m in the hands of professionals here. From the receptionist that greeted me to the gentleman that took me back to the area where they have you look through those machines, I felt like I’m in good hands, not just a number like a lot of other places I’ve been. All of their equipment is state of the art (they don’t have the old school blast that puff of air in your eye that is so dreaded!) 😂 Then I saw the eye doctor. My exam was more thorough than I’ve ever had before. They take pictures of your eyes to check your eye health and then bring it up on their big screen and even explain it you, which is so important because we only get one set of eyes. I picked out frames next and I had narrowed it down to three different ones and with the advice of the gentleman helping me, I went with some light green frames which I love because green is my favorite color! 💚 Great experience here. They texted me later that afternoon to say your glasses are ready! Unbelievable! I have always had to wait almost 2 weeks for glasses because I have a complicated prescription. They most likely have their own lab right there. The next day I went to pick them up and tried them on and I could see so much more clearly than ever before. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this clearly, I’m reading signs from far away which I haven’t in years even with glasses! So incredibly happy with my experience here. Not sure if they read their reviews but just in case they do, Thank you!! I will tell everyone I know where to go for eye care.

I had the best experience here. I've been going to discount places trying to save a few dollars. But my experiences have been less than great. So I decided to try Heffington’s. I'm so glad I did. I felt they really cares about my eye health. And we're interested in doing what was best for me. Give them a try. :)
