Huron Ophthalmology

De. Lambert is an incredibly talented professional with wonderful beside manner. She made me feel very comfortable in her evaluation and I would highly recommend her.

Overall, I had a terrible experience at Huron Ophthalmology and would not recommend it to anyone: 1) When I scheduled an appointment I provided my insurance information and was told that my insurance was accepted. I had to pay out of pocket at the end of my appointment with plans to submit to reimbursement. I then learned from my optical insurance that it would not be covered because the practice did not actually accept my insurance. This was duplicitous to say the least. 2) I had a fundoscopic photo of my eye and was not told explicitly that this was an extra charge, I only learned of it later once I got the itemized invoice in the mail. This is a lack of transparency. 3) It was extremely difficult to speak to anyone on the phone. I finally did reach an administrator, Mary, who provided excellent customer service but other than my interaction with her, I was very much disappointed by how unhelpful and apathetic all the other employees were. Again, I do not recommend Huron Ophthalmology. If you decide to receive care there, I recommend have an in-depth conversation about insurance coverage and also to read the fine print before moving forward.

Chelsea Lambert was truly wonderful. She took the time to identify the issue with my prescription and made sure everything was corrected. Her care, attention, and dedication made all the difference, and I’m so grateful for her help.

Had post up appointment with Dr. Lambert. She was very good and answered all of my questions. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quick appointment with great patient care!

I have had limited dealings with Huron Opthalmology, but the few times I have been here the experience has been excellent. The staff is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend them
