I have had a very disappointing experience with Malbar Vision. While Dr. Felt is excellent, knowledgeable, and professional, the front office staff leaves a lot to be desired. They are not very friendly, are often unhelpful, and frequently seem unsure about the status of orders or what is going on. The biggest issue is the lab. It has been consistently unreliable. Glasses take an unreasonably long time to arrive, and contact lens orders are also delayed. Communication about these delays has been poor, making the entire process frustrating. In addition, the prices for frames and contact lenses are significantly higher than many other providers. Given the high prices and the long wait times, I cannot recommend purchasing glasses or contacts from this office. Although I would gladly continue seeing Dr. Felt for eye care, I will no longer order eyewear or contact lenses through Malbar Vision. If you're looking for glasses or contacts in a timely manner and at a better value, I would recommend considering Costco or another optical provider instead.

I had a GREAT experience with them! I'm on limited income and Medicare and they even showed me a case with frames that would fit in that budget where I walked out paying $0, which is amazing for me not able to work having ALS. They also helped fixed my lazy eye non surgically 😆 BUT, I have had some issues. I've called 3x including today, trying to find out what happened with an appointment I didn't set up. (I can only go every 2 years, and I went maybe a year ago, not even.) And I recieved a letter stating I could be dropped as a patient for missing it. Which is fair if I did set it!! But I hadn't and I just CANNOT get ahold of anyone, and when I tried to call the line again (I'm an idiot and my voicemail ended too early) the initial intro starts up and then the line goes 100% silent. So I'm not sure how to get ahold of them? If its just my phone and this part of my review is for naught? But thought maybe I could seek answers here and edit my review if things get resolved. They definitely are fantastic though!!

OMG! I went to an appt. For an eye exam two weeks ago. It is April 25th 2026. This is my post. . I gave them a chance since their close to where I live. I haven't been to an eye doctor because I have 20 20 vision. I recently have problems with nearsighted vision. I've been going to pearl vision but car problems took me to them. My glasses were the incorrect prescription the frames were wrong. I understand stuff happens. Then I came in to request my paid glasses 600 dollars and was hung up on, mean and interrogated. I then told them I would sue them. Hopefully I will get what My insurance paid them. Don't ever go to them if you want bad service. Customer service is non existent. I can't understand how their on business.

Was not happy the first time my daughter and I went here. We decided not to go back and they have continued to call me almost everyday for a year and send automated messages making appt for us we never inquired about. I have called several times over and over again to be removed just for them to switch everything into my daughter’s name and start contacting me all over again. When I called the rude front desk staff said it’s impossible to be removed until I threatened to sue them for $1500 everytime they contact me she then took the time to do her job. For someone who travels internationally for work it’s highly irritating getting calls at 3am and 4am about an eye appointment that was never scheduled to begin with! Do better!!

This Malbar location is always honest and efficient. I love Dr. Felt and all of the staff are super sweet and helpful. The front desk ladies are welcoming and wish you a good day when you leave. The opticians will work with you on picking out frames and give great suggestions. The reviews with the 1 star have to be from people who are upset that they cant get their way - has to be because this office is great!
