I have called for the past 3 weeks trying to order contacts. I’ve been told by the front desk employee that the doctors out every single time. I called again today and he finally said the doctor was having a medical issue and has been out for weeks. Why wouldn’t he say, “order your contacts elsewhere, the doc is out for the foreseeable future.” It just seems like he doesn’t want to do any work. This office has really gone down hill since it moved from Franklin rd.

I've been seeing Dr. Bono for years and I'm confident that my eye health and vision is good. The optical shop has a nice selection of attractive frames to choose from and I'd recommend their services for eye care, frames and lenses. I've found the staff to be very friendly, accommodating and attentive to help me. Nice and convenient location too.

Not the place it used to be. Even the optician who assisted me said this location is lacking the technology of other stores. I felt rushed through the process, prices were extremely high and selection poor. I only bought here because they were the only location with the frames I wanted. No fitting for the glasses, the optician never got up from his chair. He said, "they look great." Really sad because this place was top notch in the past. They're obviously on their way out of business.

I got an appointment the same day I called. The doctor was very friendly and we had a good time talking. She told me to throw away my glasses and get ready for a whole new view on the world. She was so right! I have never had such an accurate prescription. I found perfect frames at a great price. My glasses were ready in a few days. I needed an adjustment a few days later. They were so helpful and did a great job. After a few days I needed one small adjustment. I went to National Optical in Vinton as it is closer to my home. The gentleman there did an awesome job with the frame adjustment in a few minutes. So kind and so very friendly.

I have been seen by Dr. Wilcox for over 6 years. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. Upon my last visit in late November, we discussed a condition relating to my eyelids. He referred me to a local surgeon, who tested me, and confirmed that I qualify for the surgery, which will be covered by my insurance. I am thrilled, and expect to ha e the needed surgery in February. His office arranged the appointment and everything. In addition, the staff at National Optical is very helpful and friendly. I simply love the last 2 pair of glasses I ordered there. The selection is the best I have seen I. Roanoke.
