No waiting, professional staff greeted me as I walked into the reception area, technician was thorough in the preliminary eye tests for the Dr. to review, Dr.took time to explain what the preliminary tests showed and continue to perform additional tests. It wasn’t a rush exam and I felt that my eye care was their priority!

I hate going to the eye doctor. My eyes react to anyone trying to hold my lids open by shutting tightly. I'd rather see a dentist AND a proctologist, at the same time. BUT, Dr McCoy is the first and only eye Dr that has successfully held my lids open, even while shining that blinding light straight into my eye. Not only does she know how to examine someone like me, she has answers to my, up until now, unanswered questions. Dr McCoy is tops in my book and I don't say that very often. I go through Doctors a lot. Her assistant, I think her name is Mackenzie, she was awesome, too. They both surprised the heck out of me. I was prepared for another disappointing exam and being totally stressed out afterward but to my pleasant surprise, I actually enjoyed this trip to the eye Dr. Furthermore, I am the type of person who deletes messages asking me for a review of their product or services. Only on rare occasions like this, do I happily comply. L William Hall
The exam from start to finish took longer than expected. An inexperienced person, doing some of the tests, had to get help. machines not working properly. Dr. McCoy did what she could with the info of tests.
I am so impressed with Southwestern Eye Center. From the initial phone call check in process to the actual appointment, everything was smooth and everyone was so nice. I felt cared for and comfortable.
Although I was treated well, I was told I would have a specialist do the testing. I expected an optometrist but received an assistant instead. He was only available later to review the results. Not satisfied.
