I met Dr Kristin on my sister's recommendation after telling her about some frustration with Dean. I have the onset of something called Macular Edema in my left eye, which has created some problems with that eye's vision. Prior to scheduling the appointment, I reviewed this with them looking to confirm that this was something they were comfortable working with. Today was my visit. The check in process was efficient and personable. Thanks Andy. When I met Dr Kristin I wanted to explain what was happening, along with where I had been before we got started. Far and away she did the best job explaining what is going on with my eye vs what I experienced at Dean and even UW Optical. She did a thorough test, using equipment that impressionistically was far more technologically advanced than Dean. It was literally like stepping forward several decades. It also had some useful features I'd never seen before. Her explanation, genuine care, and the outcome handily exceeded my expectation. When I got home I told my wife about it and suggested that she visit Dr Kristin when her eyes needed to be checked next. Better still she is a local merchant. Born and raised in the area. Also of note, when I was at UW Optical asking about setting that appointment to update my Rx, they literally told me they were a year out. Andy called me on Thursday telling me they had the insurance covered, and could see me the next day. Today, one day later, I had my appointment. As things should be but too often are not. Highly recommended.
