This was my daughter's first eye exam and they made her feel very comfortable. I had a few questions and they were answered with great knowledge. Great selection of frames, prices are more than reasonable.Definitely recommend going here!
I recently visited Sunshine Eye Clinic to get new glasses with Dr. Chris Boschen, and I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The entire office was professional, welcoming, and truly state of the art. The staff made the process smooth and easy, and I was impressed with the technology and care throughout my appointment. They also have a great selection of glasses with plenty of styles to choose from. It’s clear they care about providing a high-quality experience for their patients. I also appreciate the connection through the Springfield Executive Breakfast Club with Bary Brown. It’s always great supporting businesses run by good people who care about their community and customers. Highly recommend Sunshine Eye Clinic for anyone looking for excellent eye care and eyewear!
Dr. Boschen is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. Kirstin, my optician, was equally outstanding—helpful, attentive, and committed to ensuring I received the best possible care. They truly make you feel valued as a patient rather than just another appointment on the schedule. Everyone else from the front desk, to the testing technicians to the payment desk provided excellent customer care. I highly recommend Dr. Boschen, Kirstin, and the entire team to anyone looking for top-notch eye care and outstanding customer service.
Vision Clinic, and my experience has been quite disappointing. From the start, the eye exam felt more like a sales pitch than a professional checkup. The optometrist seemed focused on upselling expensive eye drops and masks rather than genuinely addressing my needs, which made me uncomfortable. When it came to purchasing glasses, Vision Clinic quoted me over $900 due to my eye condition. Trusting their expertise, I went ahead with the purchase, only to find out later that I could have gotten the exact same glasses at the mall for around $625. This felt like a major ripoff. To make matters worse, the arms of my $900 glasses came loose, and when I returned for repairs, I was told the glasses were under warranty but still had to pay a $50 deductible for two missing screws. I've never encountered a warranty that requires such a fee for a simple fix. This added expense felt like another way Vision Clinic tries to squeeze money out of customers. Overall, my experience with Vision Clinic has been a frustrating mix of upselling, overpriced products, and questionable warranty policies. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your eye care needs to avoid feeling taken advantage of.
