The staff and doctor were great! What wasn’t great was being charged a “new patient fee”. First time I’ve ever encountered a “new patient fee” at an annual eye appointment. I’ve been to several optometrists office and each one charge $55 for contact fitting. Well here it $55 for fitting if you are already a patient. $140-300 fitting fee for new patients. Unheard of! Then add insult to injury the fee is charged in levels. More than likely you’ll be charged the higher level cost. Lesson learned - when making appointments now one should ask do you charge a “new patient fee” even better the office could let people know (before they get there!) of unheard off fees. They happily tell you of a missed appointment fee when you are making your appointment. That new patient fee is unethical. Beware of hidden charges!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a much better experience at this location compared to a previous visit at another office in the same network. Tanika, the technician who handled my testing, was genuine, friendly, and made the process comfortable from start to finish. Dr. Koonce also had excellent bedside manner—professional, approachable, and easy to talk to, which made a big difference. I also came to this location specifically because they had the frames I was looking for, and that process was just as smooth thanks to Khyle . Everything was handled efficiently, and I didn’t feel any pressure or confusion during selection. What stood out the most was that Kimberly, the manager, took the time to speak with me directly about my prior experience and genuinely wanted to make things right. That level of accountability and customer care is something I really appreciated. Overall, this visit felt respectful, organized, and patient-focused. I would absolutely return to this location and highly recommend it to others

I've been going to University Eye for years and have always had a good experience. The only thing I will say is I get a different doctor with every visit. I would prefer to have one doctor that is familiar with my optical needs especially being diabetic.

Dr Osborne is amazing! She's very attentive, has attention to detail, patient first approach and is very thorough in speaking and giving the eye exam. She always listen & gives feedback. Most importantly, always asked me if I have questions. She's awesome & I definitely suggest that you make an appointment with her. Thank you!

Such an amazing experience, I was welcomed in and helped beautifully and well taken care of while there. It was my first time and im glad I chose them!
