Vision Care Center

While I have been pleased with the doctors and the service my daughter has received since becoming a patient in 2022, this last visit was a great disappointment. Vision Care Center has joined a new group called Elevate Eyecare which I believe has translated into higher costs for one thing. Since becoming a patient in 2022, eye exams have always been $122 for self-pay. This time I had to pay $397 for self-pay! Just for my daughter’s yearly check up. Didn’t even get a new prescription! My daughter has always liked the doctor but this time she felt like he was rude. I also felt like he was impatient with her and in a rush. There no longer was an assistant in the room with the doctor and the doctor was the one who had to take us and the paperwork up to the front for checkout. I do not believe joining this new group was a step in the right direction-higher costs and less patient care. As much as I appreciate what the doctor has done for my daughter, we cannot afford $397 just for an eye exam. We will be looking for a new eye doctor most likely.

Dr Cundiff is amazing and thorough. Never makes me feel rushed or pressured for services. One star off since I was not informed the $40 retina image was not covered by insurance. When I brought this up at check out I was told it was an optional service but she has to charge me since they already did it. I highly recommend informing patients of this additional fee prior to taking them back.

Zoe, Gabby, Sydney, Michaela, Daniel, Dr. Fitch, and Dr. Cundiff are absolutely amazing!! We just got some new glasses and we are so excited! This office is fantastic and the people are so welcoming and helpful:))) thank you VCC!!

I have gone to Vision Care for years. The practice sold out to a corporation. The entire office has changed! Vision Care use to be the best…not anymore!

Dr Timothy Cundiff is incredible; the whole staff really. From start to finish, they were professional, courteous, efficient & excellent with our kids. Strongly recommend!
