America’s Best Optometrist

Fast appointments. Nice staff. Dirty everything. Every pair to try on was smudged and nasty. Took multiple attempts to get the glasses with the correct prescription. Second pair never got right and I gave up after the third set. Will not go back. It isn't worth the hassle even at low prices.

I went to America’s Best for the first time a little less than a month ago. The appointment itself was great until I had a run in with Kenneth. He decided I needed the polycarbonate lenses, which I refused, and he upgraded me anyways. I went to pick up my glasses and I realized when I got home, they are completely unusable because of an awful glare with every light, and the reflection of my own eyes in my glasses. I called the store and Kenneth was the one who answered, he was extremely rude and unprofessional. He insisted that I got a good deal getting the polycarbonate lenses and that he recommended an anti-glare coating that I refused. Me and the person I went with never heard him say a word about an anti-glare coating, and he continues to be extremely rude with every phone call. Kenneth is an unpleasant sales associate and I am very disappointed with my service.

Went here about 15 years ago. Just had an eye exam here for the first time in a long time. The Dr, and the rest of the staff here seemed friendly all except for the person that helped me at the front. He was not friendly and agitated. His tone was very irritated all because he needed to explain to me the full price of contacts and what my insurance covered. I asked him after he processed my transaction “Do you like working here?” He sniggered and said “No” I then said to him “yea I can tell, it shows.” All he needed to do is be nice. He then just got more agitated with me for absolutely no reason. Sorry you are not happy working for this place but as a customer who also works in customer service this was absolutely unacceptable. I plan to speak with the manager of this location tomorrow.

Had a 1:00 appointment. Walked in at 1:04. No one at the desk. One person on a phone call. I waited, then took a seat at a table. Guy on the phone finished his call and stood up. I said "I'm here for my 1:00 appointment. He gave me the "hang on a minute"hand gesture and went in the back. Then another guy comes out and I said "I'm here for my 1:00 appointment. He dismissively says "we have a 5 minute tolerance for being late and you are now too late. You can either reschedule for later today or pick another day." What the heck! I was here-you were not at the desk. I sat and waited. And now you are kicking me out for being late? I said "No thanks" and left. Got back in my car. Checked the time. It was 1:07. Never going back

Cambree was super sweet, helpful and professional. it was an amazing experience! Thank you Cambree for taking the time to fix my old glasses for me till my new ones come in. what a life saver she is!
